Ushakothi (Badrama) Wildlife Sanctuary is situated in Sambalpur district of Odisha. Spanning over an area of 304 sq. km, this sanctuary is home to a large population of tigers, leopards, panthers, elephants, sloth bears, sambhar, chital and other species of deers. The singing of the birds will make you feel that you are never alone in this dense decidous forest. There are three watch towers for viewing wild animals. Best time to visit Ushakothi Wildlife Sanctuary is October to April.

Ushakothi (Badrama) Wildlife Sanctuary is located 38 km from Sambalpur. Sambalpur is well connected to the rest of the country by train. From Sambalpur you can get jeep to reach the sanctuary.
